ACT's 6-pad, spring-centered race disc features a spring-center to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. These are great. Only thing I wish it would’ve mentioned is they aren’t finished and can give you splinters unlike other shelves. But otherwise, they work for what they needed for, looks great, and easy to assemble for the price. They seem sturdy, but I don’t have much weight on it. Just something to keep from the kiddo
