The 'Little Hottie' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Bailpanone') is a compact, exceptionally cold-hardy shrub highly recommended for 2026 Saskatchewan gardens. Form & Size: It is a compact, dwarf variety that matures to a tidy, rounded shape of 3 to 5 feet (90–150 cm) in both height and spread. Sturdy Stems: Unlike many older hydrangea varieties, 'Little Hottie' features thick, robust stems that hold large flower clusters upright without drooping or flopping. Hardiness: Rated for USDA Zone 3 (tolerant to -40°C), making it a reliable performer across the Canadian prairies. Sunlight: Thrives in full sun to partial shade. In Saskatchewan, a minimum of 5–6 hours of direct sunlight is recommended for the best flower production. Soil & Water: Prefers consistently moist, well-drained soil. While it is more heat-tolerant than other hydrangeas, it should not be allowed to dry out completely. Pruning: It blooms on new wood. Really good wall amounts. I used the drywall anchors and it feels sturdy. I put like a 3 pound Crystal on it and it’s holding perfectly fine. I also was able to paint them with no problem would buy again.

Beautiful shelves!

Since new build homes typically don't come with towel rods this was what I envisioned instead. I purchased the hooks separately. The shelves are perfect! I ordered a 36in set as you see with the cream towels and a 48in set that you see with the green towels. They're not loose but not 100% sturdy. I recommend maybe gluing to the wall in addition to the rest and definitely screwing into a stud. They're easy enough to figure out without the instructions. But I will say they're supposed to be screwed in underneath to the rods but they did not come with an appropriate screw for that so I had to use some I already had on hand.

Easy to install..comes with small magnetic leveler which made things even easier! Really nice for the price.
Only thing is other than sliding the wood onto the metal brace, there’s only 2 screws that screw wood onto brace so it makes for a slightly wobbly shelf on the brace… although I have 6 screws/anchors holding each brace into the wall so it’s technically quite solid…I’m a bit nervous to keep delicates on the shelves

Great Shelves! Drywall Anchors are the Bomb!
These shelves are very plain as I hoped they would be so as to not take away from the items displayed. The blue is true to the images so I was impressed by that. Word of knowledge: if you do not hit any studs, don’t use the mollies that came with them; use plastic drywall anchors! They work amazingly well!
