Violinist Mischa Elman performs compositional works by Dvorak, Mendelssohn, Smetana and more, accompanied by Joseph Seiger at the piano. Mischa Elman, who was born at Talnoy, Kiev, made his first public appearance as a violinist at a village concert when he was five years old. His prodigious talents soon came to the notice of Leopold Auer, who adopted him as a pupil at St. Petersburg in 1901. Elman's Berlin debut took place in 1904, with immediate and outstanding success, which was repeated in the following year on his first appearance in London when he played the Tchaikovsky concerto at the Queen's Hall. With this same concerto, three years later, he introduced himself to America (New York, December 1908). Since then he has been recognized as one of the world's foremost violinists, and is particularly renowned for his beautiful tone and technical mastery. In the present recording, Mischa Elman presents some of the shorter pieces with which he has captivated audiences all over the world. 'Elman still plays with charm and elegance... In this batch of pieces, where the encore wags the concert, so to speak, Elman and Seiger combine war-horses and novelties in captivating manner. I was charmed by the exotic From San Domingo, by Arthur Benjamin, with it's echoes of guitars and popular songs. Charles Miller's Cubanaise... (it's) vivacious rhythms and sonorous middle section are most appealing. Perhaps the item that most listeners will fall for is Elman's arrangement of the so-called Canto Amoroso by Sammartini, an encore which Elman has made peculiarly his own.' - Gramophone

Recently Learned I Was In Early Stage Dementia

As my hubby and I had read Gary Chapman's The Five Love Languages and it was helpful to us, when I saw this book I couldn't resist. He writes a very thorough book about a husband and wife facing this dreaded condition. He gives suggestions on how to lovingly handle many of the irritating, annoying, not so nice and some dreaded situations that may be a problem between a husband and wife , by using examples of couples that have gone through these situations and how they handled it. And also gave his opinion on things that were done lovingly by the spouse who chooses to be the caretaker, or how it could've ended in a kinder, more loving, less detrimental way. I would recommend this book to ALL couples facing this disease that no one wants, and for all couples who wish to end the marriage on a better note v.s. exhaustion and relief ,when the affected spouse that has this diagnoses, finally passes.

Seems high quality, makes a good treat.

It's expensive, and I won't buy again most likely as I use Honest Kitchen Fish Wolfskin large chews daily to keep my dogs teeth clean (saves thousands on dentals at the vet) however, my dogs love this treat and gobble it up when offered. I was hoping it would last longer and work as teeth cleaners like the wolfskin fish chews do. Nevertheless it's a high quality food treat, and maybe I will buy again just for the occasional treat. I don't give my dogs a lot of treats much to their chagrin, but they are also not overweight either. It's not fattening and has no carbohydrates and it's not ultra-processed. I would recommend this as a treat.

Perfect chew for small dogs

These turkey tendons are the perfect treat/chew for smaller dogs and puppies. I like that there is zero odor compared to other natural treats (looking at you smelly bully sticks). It's perfect for small dogs and older dogs that aren't aggressive chewers anymore. I love that they are all natural and not too difficult to chew for my older dog. She loves them, I love them.
