Tales of the Ancient Age further bridges the gap between the band’s wildly comparative influences, ranging from BL’AST! to Thin Lizzy. Their third full-length from 2008 is a ten-track mind riot laced with neck-breaking rhythms, obscene twin guitar leads and angst-driven vocals. Annihilation Time performances have taken a backseat to other projects lately, with guitarist Graham Clise’s Stepmother working on their second LP and touring the US for the first time. However, the band is always willing to reform for special occasions like the Dave Sweetapple benefit in Pittsburgh PA at the Shred Shed this April 9th.
