'Josh Moon and Meg.'
The second story is about, Josh Moon, a young lad who together with his dog Meg are carried away down the river Medway in a row boat, after storm waters flood the river where he sat fishing. He is many miles away by the following day and ends up in a busy ship lane. Josh just escapes being run down by a sailing barge and is rescued by its crew, only to find that the Captain intends to sell him to the press gang. This is just the beginning of his adventures involving Nelson and a circus as tries to get home.
