2019 release. So, what is The Other Side of Chas & Dave? Put simply, it is their marvelous ballads. Not many people know just how many laid back beautiful songs they have written. Here are a few, with a song-by-song commentary in the booklet, specially written for this compilation by Chas himself. Across all of these tracks, selected by Chas and Dave themselves, the duo display their fabulous knack of pairing universal heartfelt sentiments with memorable tunes and performances. Amidst the well-known and lesser-known songs are gems like "I'm Going Back", the song used in that wonderful Heathrow Airport Christmas advert with Granny and Grandpa teddy bears, "Wish I Could Write A Love Song" (they can!), and the perennial favorite (and #2 hit) "Ain't No Pleasing You".

Great book
Format: Paperback
This is very similar to Panel Two, which I bought because of certain comic book writers that I enjoyed. Panel One is basically the same, which provide examples and even so "how to's" and "why's that" type of information.

Format: Paperback
I love this book. If you are interested in how comics are made do yourself a favor. Also pick up the WIll Eisner textbook trilogy.

Seeing the Creative Process for Graphic Novels
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating look at the early creative processes writers do when they make scripts for graphic novels. The only down side to this book is it doesn't show any comparison between the scripts and the final product. I suppose that's part of the fun of this book is that you have to imagine the graphics just like the original artists did.
