Lavender Jewel Miniature Rose is a highly compact reblooming deciduous shrub with a rounded habit and semi-glossed dark green foliage.  Abundant clusters of lightly fragrant mauve to lavender double flowers with pink-lavender undertones bloom in flushes from late spring into fall.  Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Lavender Jewel has excellent disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall.  Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
