An entertaining true story of the author's first 10 years of living with her husband's Italian family. The mindset, the bureaucracy and the comedy of everyday life.

ÒWhat came was unexpected: Enzo Tatangelo, a fifty-year-old Italian bachelor, with no character defects to account for his single status and no children. In 1998, after just one year of dating, we got married. We had a ceremony in a small church in Toronto with our Canadian family and a religious ceremony in Italy, surrounded by EnzoÕs family; my sister Barbara; my mother Margaret and the mother of my first husband, Edna.
After two years of marriage, I took an early retirement and we moved to Italy to live with and eventually care for his parents.Ó
Ñfrom the Prologue

Amateur genealogist, Ann Tatangelo chronicles her first experiences of being emerged in the new customs and traditions of family life in Italy, including death, dying and cemetery protocol. Along the way she accompanies a young rising star, Anna Tatangelo, to festivals, encounters a six thousand dollar German Shepard, and builds a new life in a country worlds away from the one she'd known.

My New Toeless Socks
These toeless cotton socks have been my go to socks, I have had twelve surgeries on my foot due to a car accident on my right foot. I cannot wear close toe socks as the cause swelling and pain, now I can wear these soft toeless socks with no pain or swelling. I love I have the option of three different colors as well.

The answer to calloused feet.
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Medium/Large(fits size 8 to 11)
If you have dry callused soles, these are your answer. All my calluses left and my feet were very soft. They should not be walked in unless you are very, very careful as you will slip and fall. I stopped using them for a while and all my problem calluses are back, even when I use lotion at night. They tell you not to sleep in them, I don't know why. I do put these on at night and end up taking them off later as they're not comfortable to sleep in.
