Stretching from the city s dense urban core outward to the rocky, rugged cliffs of Land s End, the Richmond contains schools, shops, churches, hospitals, and citizens from many different backgrounds and countries. San Francisco historian and tour guide Lorri Ungaretti, author of San Francisco s Sunset District, showcases here a stirring collection of vintage Richmond images, detailing this district s journey from windswept sand dunes to the modern and livable place we know today. Among the Richmond s long-gone sights are cemeteries, farms, racetracks, and improvised cottages built in the wake of the 1906 earthquake. The area remained mostly rural through the 1880s, when mining entrepreneur Adolph Sutro (who also developed Sutro Heights and Sutro Baths) put in a commuter rail line to connect San Francisco s central district with his entertainment destinations in the Outside Lands near Ocean Beach. The Richmond District s history includes large cemetery plots that are now covered with homes. In addition, the various roadhouses, racetracks, and amusement parks in the area made it what Ungaretti calls the city s playground. Great for aggressive chewers

Tuff toy, my yorkie has been trying to tare squeaker out for about 3 days, he works on the fur part but so far it stands up to his chewing, I have gone thru 3 other toys this week so glad thi one works! It lasted 8 days. They need to make whole toy out of material and put fur on top of the tuff material. Once he found out wetting the fur softens it he pulled the seam apart.

Does not stand up to aggressive chewers
Color: Grey
Supposed to be for heavy chewers. My dog destroyed this toy literally in less than 15 minutes. Tore the tail which I sewed back together and then she tore off the nose and pulled out stuffing. Don't know how they tested this. She is only 6 months old and it didn't stand up to her play. Do not recommend if you have an aggressive chewer.

Won't last a day

My 50 lb. Pitt bull destroyed this chew toy in 15 minutes.
One week later.
I'm changing my rating from a one to a five. My girl spent up until now ripping it apart and pulling the stuffing and squeaker out. She had so much fun that I bought her another one. When I took it out of the box for her, she was so happy, she immediately tried to tear it apart.

Gave it a 2 star bc it was cute and on time.
I have a GSD- a mildly aggressive chewer. This toy literally lasted 2 minutes and there was stuffing coming out so I had to take it away. Wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased.

Only Made It Two Weeks

This toy easily became my Fig's favorite toy. The squeaker wasn't as annoying as it is in many other dog plushies. However, that's where the positives end.
After the first week, there was a hole in the stitching on its neck. I sewed it up, but it obviously did not last. The squeaker went silent after a few more days. I bought it on March 28th, and it is now April 12th. It's just a rag, now.
RIP little honey badger. You did well in your short life time.
