💡 The Joint Alignment Clean Pass: When assembling the extension rails on soft ground, grass, or uneven terrain, never lock down your track clamps until the inner M12 joint screws are completely tightened down. Align the pipe segments horizontally on flat ground first, screw them together tightly to form a seamless single rail, and then lock the track correction clamps or structural braces onto the pipe. This sequence ensures the wheel path remains perfectly straight and eliminates microscopic alignment gaps.

Thread Maintenance: Before packing the extension segments back into the nylon carrying case after an exterior shoot, check the open stainless steel screw joints for dirt, sand, or moisture. Wiping the threads clean protects the precision pitch from binding or stripping out the next time you connect the tracks on set.
