The Libec HS-250M is a professional, continuous-counterbalance video support system bundle. It is engineered for lightweight to mid-sized production rigs, such as fully equipped mirrorless setups, compact cinema cameras, and standard handheld field configurations.

This specific package uses a mid-level spreader layout, which optimizes the hardware for quick deployment on uneven field terrain, stadium seating, and rugged outdoor locations.

Component Breakdown

  • H25 Fluid Head: A seventy-five millimeter dual-base fluid head featuring a flat bottom alongside a traditional half-ball casting. It provides an adjustable counterbalance system backed by a continuous spring tension knob and an illuminated reference meter dial. The pan and tilt drag modules deliver three distinct levels of smooth, stepped fluid resistance plus a zero free setting.

  • RT30B Tripod Legs: High-stability, two-stage aluminum alloy legs utilizing robust die-cast metal casings at the upper leg hinges. Built with an industry-standard seventy-five millimeter bowl diameter, these legs offer excellent torsional resistance to counteract whip-pans. Leg extensions are firmly secured using rapid rotary clamping levers.

  • BR-2B Mid-Level Spreader: A telescopic, locking mid-level spreader built from durable engineered resin. By bracing the legs higher up from the ground rather than at floor level, it allows the tripod legs to be set up securely at staggered heights on stairs, steep slopes, or rocky terrain.

  • FP-2B Rubber Feet: A set of three thick, snap-on rubber pads that fit tightly over the built-in lower leg metal spikes. These protect delicate indoor surfaces, gym floors, or polished studio tiling from scratches while increasing friction to prevent slipping.

  • RC-30 Carrying Case: A custom-contoured, water-resistant nylon transport bag. It features a heavy-duty, end-to-end zipper layout, reinforced carry handles, and an adjustable shoulder strap to safely house the collapsed system during travel.

Operational System Tips for the HS-250M:

💡 The True Balance Balancing Test: To get the most out of the H25 perfect counterbalance mechanism, never balance your camera with a half-empty battery or without your intended audio receivers attached. Rig your camera exactly as it will be used on set, slide it onto the head channel, and balance it horizontally. Next, loosen the tilt lock, tilt the camera to forty-five degrees, and let go of the pan bar. Turn the continuous counterbalance dial until the camera floats completely stationary on its own at that angle. This eliminates muscular fatigue on long tracking shoots since you will not have to fight the camera to keep it from tilting.

  • Managing Sliders and Dollies: If your shoot requires a sudden transition to a tabletop slider, you do not need a second fluid head. Loosen the seventy-five millimeter tie-down handle underneath the tripod bowl completely to separate the H25 head from the legs. The flat surface underneath the ball housing features a standard three eighths inch sixteen female thread, allowing you to bolt the head straight onto flat-base production gear.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
