Lenton Brae, Pinot Blanc, 2023'One Liner' A bright, textural Margaret River white with citrus, tangerine and a lovely saline edge. Tasting Note Pale straw in the glass. The nose is floral and lifted, with white flowers, tangerine, lychee and lime zest. On the palate it has more shape than a simple crisp white, with a fleshy mid palate, a little vanilla softness from oak, and a mineral, saline edge that keeps everything taut and fresh. Distinctive, polished and very easy to like.

The Story
Pinot Blanc is not a grape you come across every day in Margaret River, which is part of what makes this wine so interesting. Lenton Brae has made it something of a house speciality, and that says a lot about the confidence of the winery. In a region better known for Chardonnay and Cabernet, this is a reminder that Margaret River can do subtlety just as well as power. Here, the coastal influence and the Wilyabrup setting give the wine its freshness and mineral line, while the grape itself brings a softer, more textural feel than many people expect.
