Having lived off the small change and 45 adaptors of each other's pockets since 2005, Finders Keepers and Cache Cache co-founders Andy Votel and Doug Shipton spread their wings and pool their DJ bags for a series of sporadic Various Artists compilations focusing on the global punk and makeshift electro records that have kept their beer-soaked dancefloors and distorted sound systems moving. Meet the younger, sarcastic sisters of some of the classic Finders Keepers family and their spotty friends, then watch what happens when jazz-punk underdogs cock their legs to their overqualified elder brothers. Plastic Dance presents ten unacquainted and elusive slices of synthetic squat pop, angular funk, teapot kosmische, and fraudulent disco from self-propelled imprints and global coops. Named after Günter Bernas's obscure DIY anti-band, this ongoing series combines rare, unknown, and untraveled wax nuggets of nightclub punk, art school zeuhl, and quasi-political pop united by soldering irons, C-60s, and sarcastic synth tones. Featuring a cross-section of unobtainable, unreleased, unknown, and unwanted reluctant punk and snide synthpop with sleeve-notes by respected DJ/haç hack/Situationist addict John McCready and artwork by airbrush-legend Terry Pastor (Ziggy Stardust/Soft Machine/Arthur C. Clarke), Plastic Dance becomes flexible under heat. Includes tracks by Killing Car, Cybotron, 53 Bus, Plastictanz, Don Gere, Zed, The Tunes, Sirons, Biting Tongues, and Andrzej Korzynski.

Tracks:
1.1 01. Killing Car - Ost
1.2 02. Cybotron - Sweet 16/9th Floor
1.3 03. 53 Bus - Horizontal Diy
1.4 04. Plastictanz - Mir Geht Es Danke Gut

started fogging up inside after a couple of swimming sessions
Color: Black
Unfortunately, my watch started fogging up inside after just a couple of normal swimming sessions. I rinsed it with fresh water every time afterward and dried it with a towel, but later noticed moisture building up inside, and now I have to put it in rice to pull the condensation out. On the other hand, it’s hard to find good-looking classic-style watches with tide information, so I might just keep it as an everyday accessory rather than a watch for swimming.

Great watch for a great price.
Color: Green/Green
Watch is well made and keeps time accurate. Easy to charge and just keeps going. No surprises. If you like what you see and want a solar watch go for it. Sapphire Glass too.

It was too good to be true
Color: Tan
I spoke too soon. Like with every Timex, this one was faulty, too. When the seconds hand reaches the 12 o'clock position (indicating the start of a new minute), the minutes hand should align precisely with a minute marker. That's how it should be. However, in the case of this particular watch, the minutes hand consistently lags behind, meaning it does not align correctly with the minute marker when the seconds hand hits the 12. No matter how precisely I align the minute hand when resetting the time, the minute hand eventually misaligns. Timex, I give up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: "Wow. After receiving 3 faulty, shoddily built Timex watches in a row, color me impressed. This looks good, feels good, and operates well. This is a great cheap alternative to the Khaki Field watch, IMO. The case is made of steel, not brass like many Timex watches. The glass is mineral, but here's something many watch enthusiasts don't tell you—mineral glass is more impact-resistant than sapphire crystal. Since you want a field watch to have more impact-resistant features, I'm okay with mineral glass. And here's the final bonus... the second hand actually hits all the markers. This may not be your experience, but with the one I got, it's hitting the marks perfectly. A lot of collectors obsess over specifications way too much. For me, as long as the watch functions properly, aesthetics and design are most important. And this watch has it. In person, this watch just looks really, really good. And for the price I got it at, it checks off the spec sheet too. Now, let's see how it holds up over time."

Too small
Color: Tan
I have small wrists and this was too small even for me. It also seems a bit cheap compared to my other Timex and Casio.
