The First Team FT170DR Rear Mount Fixed Basketball Rim delivers institutional-grade durability and consistent play for any facility utilizing rear mount backboards. Engineered with two official-sized 5/8" diameter steel rings, this rim features robust construction with structural components no less than 3/16" thick, ensuring it stands up to rigorous use. A 1" x 3/16" ring support is welded around 60% of the bottom ring for added strength, while the entire assembly is finished with a durable orange powdercoat to resist corrosion and maintain its appearance over time. The continuous netlock system is designed to minimize breakage, a common issue with individually welded netlocks, providing reliable net attachment season after season.
