How to Use
- Clean the parts to be joined and the soldering iron tip thoroughly.
- "Tin" all faces of the tip with a light coating of solder before use.
- Heat the parts (not the solder directly) using the iron tip.
- Apply flux-core solder to the heated parts and allow it to melt and flow freely.
- Allow the joint to cool undisturbed before handling.
Safety Tips: Use the included stand when not in active use. Avoid touching the tip during operation. Do not file the iron-plated tip or apply excess solder unnecessarily. A small amount of smoke may appear on first use — this is normal and will stop quickly.
