The "Blackthorn" pattern was designed by textile artist William Morris during the Arts and Crafts Movement of the 19th century. Several colors have been printed around the Tornado's stainless-steel barrel that's finished with a gloss varnish and polished brass accents.
The Met William Morris' "Blackthorn" rollerball is packaged in a commemorative tube complete with a foldout print with more information on the design, artwork, and artist. Although not a limited edition, the top ring is engraved with The Met logo and a serial number. The Met logo is also imprinted on a matching metal top disc.
