Stunning and unique ROUND matted/framed, 1920's ART DECO abstract etched painting on aluminum - by Hungarian-born artist Martyn FerencFrom my research online, I believe this amazing, perfectly round art deco abstract piece dates back to the 1920's. It was created by Hungarian artist Ferenc Martyn (1899 1986). It is painted on aluminum. The aluminum was also hand etched by the artist. I've included some close up photos to show there are some dots marks on the aluminum due to age. There are also a few little pieces of dust or paper in the frame from age. From my research online, I believe this amazing, perfectly round art deco abstract piece dates back to the 1920's. It was created by Hungarian artist Ferenc Martyn (1899-1986). It is painted on aluminum. The aluminum was also hand etched by the artist.

I've included some close-up photos to show there are some dots/marks on the aluminum due to age. There are also a few little pieces of dust or paper in the frame from age. I suggest that the buyer take the back of the frame off and take any pieces of debris out. You might be able to have the dots (might be some mold dots) professionally removed but if you don't, it still displays nicely - the photos showing them are very close-up.

This amazing piece measures 27".

Here's info I found online about the artist:

Hungarian artist Ferenc Martyn moved to Paris in the 1920s. In Paris, Martyn associated with the Abstraction-Création group who were actively promoting the principles of pure abstraction in art in the 1930s. Martyn’s abstract paintings, sculpture and ceramic works from this time borrow from his personal experience, music and folk culture. Also working in literary illustration, in 1982 he produced 24 illustrations for James Joyce’s ‘Ulysses’ in celebration of the centenary of the writer’s birth.

Perfect over a picnic table!
Size: 6.5x10ft, Color: Lake Blue
Great umbrella. We used it over a rectangular picnic table and the shape was perfect. Love the color too!

Attractive and seems like it will hold up
Size: 6.5x10ft, Color: Blue-Green Stripe
Seems sturdy enough. Tilt button is difficult to retract to straight, but maybe just my finger strength, or it will loosen up with time. The color of one of the stripes is off from the photo. I was hoping it was turquoise as shown in picture, but is actually a much deeper blue. Doesn't coordinate with my other patio colors like I hoped it would, but it will do.

Makes moving your umbrella around a breeze.
Size: 100LBS
This is best idea in umbrella stands. Decent price. I love that the water intake/release is on the side. Many are on top of the stand. Doesn't leak. Easy to move around and easy to put together with the included tools. I have 2. One for a very heavy 10 x 6' umbrella, and the other for a very light 1/2 round umbrella. Works equally well for both. One tricky part the instructions don't include is that is parts F and J are 'in place' in the base and you need to remove them to re attach them to the cylinder, or what they refer to as the "stand pole". So, if you are looking for parts (and I did this twice), just remember you will find them on the underside of large plastic umbrella base. Both are black, and so not immediately apparent. Love that there are two locking wheels and they include an extra screw. IKEA could learn a few things here.
