The Masaji Nobe No. 20 (1980) is a highly collectible, master-built vintage classical concert guitar crafted by the legendary Japanese luthier Masaji Nobe. Renowned for his meticulous, one-man production, Nobe's instruments from this era are sought after globally for their elite craftsmanship, premium old-growth tonewoods, and deep, resonant acoustic character that heavily draws comparison to elite "Fletaesque" sound profiles.

Masaji Nobe (1935–2004) was a legend in Japanese lutherie, operating a true one-man workshop alongside other domestic greats like Masaru Kohno and Sakazo Nakade. Because he built his instruments almost entirely by himself, his output was limited, making his guitars rare and highly collectible.

  • Model Number Meaning: In the Japanese luthier system of the 1970s and 1980s, the model number "20" meant the guitar originally retailed for 200,000 Japanese Yen.
  • Top Wood: Solid German Spruce, noted for producing transparent high notes and exceptionally clear note separation.
  • Back & Sides: Premium Solid Rosewood (with some higher-end or older models featuring Jacaranda/Brazilian Rosewood).
  • Scale & Playability: Commonly built with a slightly shorter, comfortable 630mm to 640mm scale length paired with a slim 50mm nut width, making it exceptionally smooth to play.
  • Bracing & Finish: Traditional multi-fan bracing pattern completed with a meticulous, thin French polish/shellac finish to allow the wood to breathe and vibrate freely.
  • Tone Profile: It delivers a bold, heavy, cello-like bass response paired with bright, sparkling trebles and rich sustain.

This is the ONLY paper that works well with SP-1
Style: 100ct
This is the only paper that works well with the Brother SP-1 sublimation printer. The instructions on using the paper are a little weird, but as long as the cut corner remains in the lower right of the printer tray, you'll be okay. I can't say that there's a lot of consistency in printing with this paper. Sometimes photos I've printed for items look really great, other times the photos are quite muted. This is a CMYK printer, which means you won't see the vibrant colors you see on your computer monitor. Often a red-boost in saturation in PS will help with some of that problem. The other issue is there's no real color management profile defined if you're printing directly from Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator. Even if you use matching CMYK colors in your artwork, don't expect those colors to work in sublimation. For simple artwork, with few color gradations, this seems to work pretty well. So, if you have an SP-1, this is the only paper you should use.

Amazing product!
Set name: Sublimation Printer, Set name: Sublimation Printer
All I can say is "WOW". I was skeptical about changing over from my Sawgrass to another brand of sublimation printers. But now I wish I started here from the start! Not only does this machine cost a good amount less with the same paper sizes and options as my SG500 but the ink is cheaper per cartridge and 11ml larger than the standard 30ml I am use to. Set up was super easy, as well as the connection. My prints are bold, bright, and beautiful. I am amazed! I am thankful that the details in the prints show through no matter what material I am pressing on. As a business owner, I need a good, efficient printer that doesn't cost more than the product I am selling. I can't wait to continue using my machine. I have not run into any maintenance issue and can not speak on anything of that as of now. Attached photos; however, my camera did not do it justice.
