Die Broil King Grillplatte aus Gusseisen für die Baron- und Crown-Modelle ist vielseitig einsetzbar und ersetzt einfach einen Grillrost. Die Wendeplatte kann beidseitig genutzt werden: Die glatte Seite eignet sich ideal zum Braten und Backen von kleinem Grillgut, Spiegeleiern oder Pancakes, während die geriffelte Seite perfekte Grillstreifen und intensive Röstaromen bei Steaks erzeugt.

Da Gusseisen empfindlich auf starke Temperaturschwankungen reagiert, sollte niemals Wasser auf die heiße Platte gegeben werden. Auch Stürze auf harte Oberflächen können Schäden verursachen. Für eine lange Lebensdauer die Platte stets vorsichtig behandeln und leicht eingeölt lagern, um Korrosion zu vermeiden.
