Georgia O'Keeffe: To See Takes TimeIn 1916, Georgia O'Keeffe wrote to Alfred Stieglitz that she had "made [a] drawing several times never remembering that I had made it before and not knowing where the idea came from." These drawings, and the majority of O'Keeffe's works in charcoal, watercolor, pastel, and graphite, belong to series, in which she develops and transforms motifs that lie between observation and abstraction. In 1916, Georgia O'Keeffe wrote to Alfred Stieglitz that she had "made [a] drawing several times - never remembering that I had made it before - and not knowing where the idea came from." These drawings, and the majority of O'Keeffe's works in charcoal, watercolor, pastel, and graphite, belong to series, in which she develops and transforms motifs that lie between observation and abstraction. In the formative years of 1915 to 1918, she made as many works on paper as she would in the next forty years, producing sequences in watercolor of abstract lines, organic landscapes, and nudes, along with charcoal drawings she would group according to the designation "specials." While her practice turned increasingly toward canvas in subsequent decades, important series on paper reappeared - including charcoal flowers of the 1930s, portraits of the 1940s, and aerial views of the 1950s. Published in conjunction with an exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, this richly illustrated volume highlights the drawings of an artist better known as a painter, and reunites individual sheets with their contextual series in order to illuminate O'Keeffe's persistently sequential practice.

Holds up pretty well.
Color: Green Helix, Size: Medium
Holds up against my velociraptor! Much better than some of the other holey balls that get torn apart quickly. I think this is a great idea to reuse old shoe soles into toys for the heavy chewers like heelers. I would like to see a large ball like 10-12 inch diameter, so they can push and throw it around.

Molly loves her ball!
Color: Blue Helix, Size: Large
Soft and easily caught by a rambunctious Border Collie. She loves her ball and points to it with her nose when she's ready for another game of "ball". Easy to throw and easy to clean of slobbers!

Great Strong Chew Toy but not too Hard
Color: Red Pulse, Size: Medium
Great strong chew toy. It's very strong and does not tear apart like everything else. At the same time it is not hard plastic like the last brown one I ordered that could break my dog's teeth. My dog is a 2 yr old 14 lb Chi mix with a super strong bite. He tore all the stuffies up and even the nylon toy that was supposed to withstand a lot. This is the one toy that could outsmart him. I play fetch with him and it has a nice weird hop due it's shape so it keeps him interested and surprised. It's a bit heavier than other similar toys and I'm guessing bigger dogs would definitely like it too. I'm very pleased after buying so many others that were easily chewed up or too hard.
