Lightweight, playful, and extremely versatile, the all-new Starboard Viva Wing is the ultimate all-around board, built for any location, any riding style, and any rider. From waves to lakes, from freestyle to freefly, and even for big air jumps, the Viva can do it all. Available in stores starting in February 2026.

The VIVA’s straight, central leading edge and fuller wingtips deliver power, acceleration, and lift. At the same time, the rounder outline and straighter trailing edge ensure a smooth glide, high agility, and a wide wind range - perfect for waves, jumps, downwind riding, and all-around freeriding.

GRADIENT LOAD CANOPY

The Canopy combines lightweight Aeroflex 55 in the leading edge, Code-Tec 85 in the center section, and a strip of durable Ultra-X along the trailing edge. Lighter material is used where there is less stress, and stronger material in high-stress areas, ensuring efficient power transfer, reduced deformation, and a smooth, forward-pulling ride.

LIGHT & AGILE

An ultra-slim strut and lightweight, narrow Ultra-X wingtips, combined with lighter and stiffer canopy materials, reduce swing weight and drag. As a result, the VIVA feels extremely light, responsive, and playful in the pilot’s hands.

MEDIUM DIHEDRAL

An average dihedral angle of 12.5° offers the perfect balance between the maneuverability of a steeper dihedral and the efficient power transfer and stability of a flatter design. This ensures smooth control, stability, and strong all-around performance, especially when the Wing is flagged.

UPWARD-SWEPT WINGTIPS

Upturned wingtips increase stability, neutrality, and glide, and make the Wing particularly forgiving, whether you're tacking or sailing at full speed.

DEEP PROFILE, MEDIUM CHORD

The deeper profile delivers powerful low-end performance, while the medium chord length balances agility and stability. Short enough for a direct, responsive feel, yet long enough for good glide and control, the Wing feels balanced and responsive in all wind conditions.

FLUTTER-FREE FLIGHT

Four stiff fiberglass battens are strategically positioned along the trailing edge. Together with the perfectly tensioned Ultra-X section in the rear canopy, they ensure an extremely quiet and flutter-free ride, regardless of wind speed.

MINIMAL WINDOWS

Minimalist PU windows are strategically placed in the central Code-Tec 85 section of the canopy. Central windows provide a view to leeward, while front windows offer a forward view, allowing you to avoid collisions without compromising the canopy’s performance.

COOL GREY LEADING EDGE

The cool-gray Leading Edge keeps the PSI stable in the sun by reflecting heat and preventing overpressure, which extends the wing's lifespan.
A black Leading Edge tire's pressure rises from 10 to 13 PSI in the sun, while a Cool Grey tire's pressure rises only from 10 to about 10.5 PSI.

ERGO FLAG HANDLE

An ergonomically low-mounted flag-out handle with a wide, soft grip and a stiff webbing base allows for effortless, direct, and comfortable control in freefly mode.

DUAL PUSH-TURN VALVES

User-friendly Max-Flow push-turn valves make it easy to inflate and deflate the wing. Separate valves for the strut and leading edge allow you to adjust the pressure individually for maximum performance and to adapt to different conditions and disciplines.

PISTOL GRIP BOOM (SOLD SEPARATELY)

Choose between a prepreg UD carbon or aluminum pistol grip boom, depending on your budget and preferences. The ergonomic soft-touch design offers semi-flagged control, makes tacks and gybes easier, provides excellent roll control, and features a non-slip, comfortable grip for long sessions.

WING WAIST LEASH (INCLUDED)

All Starboard Wings come standard with a sturdy waist leash for safety, comfort, and freedom of movement. This way, your Wing secured, while your arms remain free. A wrist leash is available as an optional aftermarket replacement part.

WING BAG (INCLUDED)

Our ventilated Wing-Bag has room for your Wing, a pump and accessories, and can even handle a 109 cm capitalize on the long boom while he is still at Wing It's permanently attached, so you don't have to remove it while you're out and about. Made in collaboration with Waste2Wear from recycled plastic bottles.
