Blazon is played in consecutive turns. On your turn, you must perform either an Acquire action or a Blazon action.

When you take the Acquire action, you may draw two Element cards from either the Tincture deck, the Device deck, or one of each. You may keep both cards or exchange one (or both) for cards that are face up.

By performing the Blazon action, you can place Element cards from your hand onto your shield board. You choose which card to place, ensuring you meet the requirement on your shield board. To place a card, you must discard any number of cards from your hand, whose combined prestige value is equal to or greater than the prestige value of the element card you wish to place on your shield board.
