Der Blindstichfuss #5 ist der Experte für unsichtbare Säume. Beim Blindsaumnähen mit ihm sind die Einstichstellen auf der Vorderseite kaum zu sehen. Der Stich erfolgt beim Blindstichfuss #5 über ein spezielles Führungsblech, dadurch wird er eher lose angenäht und liegt schön flach.
Beim Glattstreichen des Materials schliessen sich die Einstichstellen auf der Vorderseite und die Naht wird nahezu unsichtbar. Zudem sorgt das Führungsblech beim Nähen für einen gleichmässigen Abstand zur Bruchkante und der Saum wird regelmässig und sauber verarbeitet.
Der Blindstichfuss #5 ist für praktisch alle Materialien geeignet. Er kann mit linker oder rechter Nadelposition auch problemlos zum schmalkantigen Absteppen von mittelschweren und dicken Stoffen verwendet werden.

It’s okay, worth the price

I love the aesthetics of these brushes. They aren’t the best bristles though. But you really have to scrub. It’s not the best brush I’ve ever used but it gets the job done.
I will note I use cast iron pans. I would definitely recommend a stronger brush for that cookware.
However for the cost, I am happy with them. I find it to be very reasonable for how they look and how sturdy they are. They’ll work great for most of our dishes- my cookware however will need a better option.
