Blei-Kohlenstoff-Batterien bieten also folgende Vorteile:
- Weniger Sulfatierung beim Betrieb in einem teilweise geladenen Zustand.
- Niedrigere Lade-Spannung und daher ein höherer Wirkungsgrad sowie weniger Korrosion der positiven Platten.
