Auch dieses Werk ist ein modernes, handlungs- und kompetenzförderndes Lehrwerk für das Fach Wirtschafts- und Sozialkunde. Für die Fachstufe II (BFS II) liegt der inhaltliche Schwerpunkt auf den Themen Nachhaltigkeit, Medienwelt, Demokratieverständnis in Deutschland und Europa als gemeinsamer Lebensraum. Hier steht die Handlungs- und Kompetenzförderung im Mittelpunkt. Ziele sind, Jugendliche auf gesellschaftliche und politische Themen aufmerksam und kritikfähig zu machen. Meinungen vertreten und diskutieren zu können sind Werte, die mit dem Erwerb der Mittleren Reife die Basis für ein fundiertes Allgemeinwissen bilden. Das didaktische Konzept der Handlungs- und Kompetenzorientierung soll dem Unterricht zugrunde liegen. "Demokratie erleben" wurde nach dem Lehrplan Wirtschafts- und Sozialkunde von 2020 verfasst und so gegliedert, dass die vier Kompetenzbereiche (Lerngebiete) für die Fachstufe II der BFS abgebildet sind.

If I was going to rename the book, I would call it How to Work With People.
