Der smarte Wandschalter erlaubt ein intuitives, direktes Schalten und Dimmen von Zigbee 3.0 Produkten ohne Smartphone oder Gateway. In Kombination mit dem Paulmann smik Gateway (Art.-Nr. 50135) kann eine individuelle Konfiguration vorgenommen werden. Nur mit der dazugehörigen Paulmann smik App lassen sich Gruppentasten individuell mit Räumen und Szenen belegen. Eine Nutzung des Wandschalters mit einem anderen Zigbee 3.0 Gateway kann je nach Hersteller möglich sein, wird jedoch von Paulmann nicht garantiert. In diesem Fall ist nach Einbindung die rudimentäre Steuerung von Zigbee 3.0 Leuchten über Touchlink möglich. Dank IP44-Schutz ist der smarte Wandschalter spritzwassergeschützt und lässt sich daher im Außenbereich verwenden.
