3C MAXXGRIP

La mescola 3C MaxxGrip di Maxxis utilizza la gomma a rimbalzo più appiccicosa e lenta che offriamo in uno pneumatico per mountain bike. Questa mescola ad alta trazione è la stessa utilizzata dai nostri migliori atleti della Coppa del Mondo di Downhill e di Enduro World Series ed è ora disponibile in una varietà di configurazioni di carcassa per coprire tutti i ciclisti.

DOUBLE DOWN (DD)

DoubleDown (DD) è la nostra soluzione di carcassa per le gare di enduro e l'uso di e-bike. Due strati del nostro materiale leggero per la carcassa da 120 TPI sono combinati con un inserto sul fianco in butile per creare uno pneumatico altamente resistente con un maggiore feedback sul percorso rispetto a uno pneumatico con carcassa da discesa. Gli pneumatici DoubleDown sono leggermente più leggeri rispetto ai loro omologhi da Downhill, ma è proprio la differenza nella "sensazione di trail" che li distingue. Alcuni ciclisti potrebbero preferire la guida altamente smorzata fornita da uno pneumatico con carcassa da discesa.

TUBELESS READY

Gli pneumatici tubeless ready offrono al ciclista numerosi vantaggi: la capacità di utilizzare pressioni dell'aria più basse, che migliora la trazione; minore resistenza al rotolamento rispetto a uno pneumatico con camera d'aria; e meno possibilità di appiattimento perché non c'è il tubo. I pneumatici tubeless ready sono contrassegnati dalle lettere "TR" sul fianco.

I pneumatici tubeless ready devono essere montati su cerchi compatibili tubeless e richiedono l'uso di un sigillante liquido per mantenere la pressione. I sigillanti liquidi hanno il vantaggio aggiuntivo di sigillare piccole forature. Assicurati di controllare regolarmente il sigillante e di rinfrescarlo secondo necessità poiché si asciugherà nel tempo.


I sigillanti liquidi devono essere utilizzati solo nei seguenti tipi di pneumatici: tubeless da strada, tubolari e tubeless ready. L'uso di sigillanti liquidi in qualsiasi altro pneumatico Maxxis annullerà la garanzia.

It won't filter light all that great and even though it stands on its own, it can be blown over easily - but for the price? Excellent. If I wanted a heavy duty, thicker, more expensive one, I would've bought one. The 2nd one is on the way. Perfect height, no weird smell, nice and light and easy to move around.

It’s really pretty decent except for one thing.

I bought two of these for my basement and they do look great. They were easy to assemble and I’m happy with them. The problem is that the stitching on the fabric panels are almost the size of a machine basting stitch (which for non sewers means large temporary stitches). Because the panels are tight by design, the stitches had already started to come undone before I could finish assembling everything. Fortunately I can sew and I reinforced all the panels. I had to take the first ones back off the poles to do them but I did the second set before assembling. It’s really not a bad product for the money. It’s quality fabric and the design itself looks great. The stitching looks fine but it’s just not substantial enough for the purpose it is supposed to serve. I can’t imagine why it be sewn so insufficiently. I was able to resolve my issue because I can sew. I wasn’t planning on sewing nor did I really have the time. I could have made it myself but I didn’t want to and that is why I purchased this. I ended up using valuable time. The really unfortunate thing is, I have no other complaints. This is a manufacturing problem.
