SOS Piranha Alarm von Mattel ist ein spannendes Kinderspiel, das Aktions- und Würfelspiel-Elemente kombiniert. Die Spieler steuern jeweils drei Fischkugeln stromaufwärts und versuchen, diese sicher am oberen Bereich des Spielbretts zu platzieren, ohne von den Piranhas gefressen zu werden. Jeder Spieler würfelt reihum, um die Fische zu bewegen und mögliche Piranha-Angriffe auszulösen. Wird ein Piranha gewürfelt, aktiviert ein zweiter Wurf den Piranha-Hebel, der dazu führt, dass die Piranhas zuschnappen und Fische fangen können. Der besondere "S.O.S. Piranha-Alarm" tritt ein, wenn beim zweiten Wurf erneut ein Piranha erscheint – dann greifen alle vier Piranha-Kugeln gleichzeitig an.

Das Kinderspiel ist einfach zu verstehen und bietet durch die Kombination aus Glück und taktischem Nachdenken einen unterhaltsamen Spieleabend für die ganze Familie. Es fördert spielerisch die Feinmotorik und das Abschätzen von Risiken.
