Die Hope Tech 4 E4 Scheibenbremse übertrifft erneut die Leistung ihres beliebten Vorgängers. Die 4-Kolben-Bremse erreicht dieses Ziel durch bessere Ergonomie, höhere Bremskraft und minimalen Verschleiß. Die Form des Enduro-Bremshebels wurde für bessere Ergonomie und optimierte Kraftübertragung überarbeitet. Das Volumen des Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälters wurde durch intelligentes Design vergrößert, während die Gesamthöhe gleichzeitig reduziert wurde, wodurch der Hebel filigraner wirkt. Die stabile und praktische Scharnierklemme reduziert das Gewicht und sorgt für sicheren Halt. Unter anderem trägt dies zu einer universelleren Integration des Schalthebels bei, was ebenfalls die Ergonomie am Cockpit verbessert.
Die Hebelposition und der Bremsdruckpunkt lassen sich werkzeuglos, präzise und schnell individuell einstellen.
Die 4-Kolben-Bremszange bietet bis zu 30 % mehr Bremskraft als das Vorgängermodell. Hochwertige Kolben und das reibungsarme Lager gewährleisten einen sauberen Betrieb mit geringem Verschleiß. Eine Phenol-Isolationsschicht schützt die Komponenten bei intensiver Nutzung vor Hitze und sorgt so für maximale Funktionssicherheit.
Die Bremszange ist Post Mount montiert und die Bremsflüssigkeitsversorgung erfolgt über eine hochwertige geflochtene Stahlleitung. Diese hat eine Gesamtlänge von 1700 mm und kann für dein Fahrrad gekürzt werden. So kann sie als Hinterrad- oder Vorderradbremse verwendet werden.

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.

Cheaper than the supply house.

I used black pipe similar to this to build some shelves in my man cave. I went looking to build a studio desk and found that Lowe's wanted $8 per floor flange (~$96 just for flanges and not including the pipe, tees, or the other fittings). Even supply house dot com wanted $4 per flange (~$48, but was still missing the other parts AND they didn't offer them because of supply chain issues). For about $65, this was a great buy. Yes everything is greasy. This will be the case regardless of where you buy it. I used some gloves, shop towels, and acetone and it cleaned up easily. For a top, I used a pre-made countertop from Lowe's (~$100) and a 1x4 piece of poplar I had sitting around.

Pipes don't assemble square, nice stand though.

These arent standard SCH40 pipe for starters. Significantly lighter. Easier to move around and sturdy enough to support a table, but this isnt pipe. As such, when I threaded it together, it wasn't square. I was able to flatten it mostly, but I had to use a clamp to bend the assembled piping to sguare so it would attach to the table runners. It's fine, but it surprised me. It looks nice, and it provides plenty of support for the table. All good. Several folks complained that the pipes are oily. They are supposed to be to prevent rust. I wiped them down with a few cleaner wipes, and they are fine. Be aware that this doesn't come with instructions or the wood screws you may need for your table top.
