Der Einhell TC-OS 18/187 Li-Solo Akku-Schwingschleifer ist ein leichter und handlicher Helfer aus der Power X-Change Familie, der sich perfekt für das Schleifen von ebenen Flächen, großen Werkstücken, Verkleidungen oder Paneelen eignet. Durch das flexible Power X-Change System ist der Schwingschleifer kabellos einsetzbar und kann mit allen Akkus der Serie betrieben werden. Der Schleifpapierwechsel erfolgt schnell und einfach dank Micro-Klett oder der Klemmvorrichtung, wodurch auch herkömmliches Schleifpapier ohne Kletthaftung verwendet werden kann. Für eine komfortable Handhabung sorgen die großen Griffflächen mit Softgrip, die selbst bei längeren Arbeiten ermüdungsfreies Schleifen ermöglichen. Der integrierte Staubfangsack sammelt den anfallenden Schleifstaub, während ein Anschluss für eine externe Staubabsaugung für noch mehr Sauberkeit am Arbeitsplatz sorgt. Important reading for every working woman!

Let me start by saying that this isn't a genre I am normally drawn to. I usually am a fiction reader, but a trusted friend recommended this book so highly that I felt I should give it a chance. I'm so glad I put aside my hesitation, as I really feel this is a book that every woman in the American workforce should read. It is a fascinating primer in how we got where we are, and how much effort it took to gain even our somewhat compromised equality. While the legal issues involved can be a little complex, Thomas does an excellent job of breaking them down into straightforward concepts. I also really appreciated her ability to make the whole process of moving a case up through the Court of Appeals and eventually to the Supreme Court come to life. For those of us who are not in the legal profession, this process can seem mysterious, but this book made it easy to understand. By clearly and patiently laying out the facts of each case, Thomas also gives the reader the opportunity to test their own assumptions and think through the logic of the cases for themselves. For me, it was a fascinating opportunity to weigh my assumptions about my political leanings against my intellectual analysis of the facts, and I often surprised myself. All in all, I think this is an important book, and also a surprisingly accessible and engaging one. You will feel smarter and much more informed after reading it. And if you are a woman, you may well also feel grateful for those brave women (and men) who fought and struggled to make your experience in the workplace fairer.

This book, while deeply researched and rigorous, is the opposite of legalese. Thomas's vivid, thoughtful, witty storytelling reveals the real (and courageous) people behind the cases that made employment discrimination law what it is today. It shows not just the impact of law on people, but the impact of people on law. These women's struggles (and those of the advocates at their side) are both infuriating and inspiring. (That was me on the subway yelling at the book, alternating between "WHAT THE HELL?!" and "YOU GO, IDA!") Read it on the train, read it on the beach; just read it. I have a zillion friends with spring birthdays, not to mention my mom (who came of working age during this gender-siloed Mad-Men-tastic era) and I'm buying it for every single one.

I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.
