Der Pinot Noir wächst auf eisenhaltigen Kalksteinböden, wird von Hand gelesen und traditionell ausgebaut. Liniers behutsame Hand bändigt die berühmte Pommard-Kraft zu noblem Trinkfluss.

Im Glas tiefes Rubinrot, in der Nase dunkle Beeren, Pflaume, Unterholz und Gewürze. Am Gaumen kräftig und dicht, mit griffigem, gut eingebundenem Tannin und herzhaftem, langem Nachhall. Ein klassischer Pommard für rotes Fleisch, Wild oder kräftigen Käse. Dekantieren oder einige Jahre legen — Geduld wird hier belohnt.
