Dieser Strahler wurde für eine Vielzahl von Freihand-Ausleuchtungsaufgaben mit verschiedenen Farb-LEDs konstruiert, die mit verschiedenen Leistungen und Brenndauer betrieben werden können. Der Strahler hat einen um 185° drehbaren Kopf und einen Gürtel- bzw. Stoff-Clip, der die Positionierung der Lichtquelle am Arbeitsbereich ermöglicht. Taktile Polaritätsangabe am Gehäuse erleichtert Batteriewechsel im Dunklen. Batteriefachkappe angebunden, um einen Verlust der Kappe zu verhindern. Taktiler Indikator am Drehschalter für die IR-LED-Position. Druckschalter schaltet die ausgewählte Lichtquelle ein/aus. Hochleistungs-Stroboskopfunktion der ausgewählten Lichtquelle wird durch zweimaliges Drücken des Druckschalters aktiviert.

Lampe schalten zunächst auf niedrige Ausgangsleistung und können in 4 diskreten Schritten auf maximale Ausgangsleistung geschaltet werden. Einrastender Drehwahlschalter, den man herausziehen muss, um ihn zu drehen, verhindert versehentliche Änderungen des Betriebsmodus und ermöglicht die Auswahl von 4 Beleuchtungsquellen. Bruchfestigkeit aus 3 Metern Fallhöhe mit verschiedenen Ausrichtungen geprüft.

Wasserdicht nach IPX7 30 Minuten lang wasserdicht bis 1 Meter. Mit O-Ringen und Dichtungen abgedichtete Öffnungen erlauben wasserdichten Betrieb. Entspricht MIL-STD-810F, Methode 512.4. Robuster Gürtel-/Kleidungs-Clip. Schlagfestes, superrobustes Polyamidgehäuse bietet außergewöhnliche Haltbarkeit und Wetterfestigkeit.
