Ein mystischer Wald, Quell der Ruhe und des Friedens, wird von den verheerenden Flammen des Onibi bedroht. In Living Forest schlüpfen die Spielenden in die Rollen der Naturgeister Frühling, Sommer, Herbst und Winter und wollen den Wald beschützen, indem sie die Flammen löschen, Bäume pflanzen oder den Wächter des Waldes erwecken. Wem wird es gelingen, Onibi in die Flucht zu schlagen? In jeder Runde decken die Spielenden – jede*r für sich – Karten ihrer Decks auf, die unterschiedliche Waldtiere zeigen. Diese hilfreichen Waldwesen bringen diverse Elemente mit. Doch unter den Tieren gibt es Einzelgänger, von denen nicht zu viele auf einmal aufgedeckt werden sollten. Mit den Elementen können die Spielenden ein bis zwei Aktionen durchführen und so Bäume pflanzen, Flammen löschen, sich auf dem Steinkreis bewegen, um diverse Boni zu aktivieren, neue Tiere anlocken oder Magiefragmente erhalten. Am Ende jeder Runde müssen sich dann alle Spielende gleichermaßen den verbleibenden Flammen im Steinkreis stellen. Können sie diese nicht abwehren, müssen sie Feuerwarane in ihr Deck aufnehmen – griesgrämige Einzelgänger-Tiere, die keine Elemente beisteuern. Nur mit Magiefragmenten kann man sie wieder loswerden! Das Spiel endet, sobald eine Person es schafft, eine der drei möglichen Siegbedingungen zu erfüllen. Living Forest ist ein gehobenes Familienspiel bzw. leichtes Kennerspiel mit Push-Your-Luck-Mechanismus und wunderschönen Illustrationen. Obwohl alle Spielenden auf ein gemeinsames Ziel hinarbeiten, kann am Ende nur eine Person gewinnen.Achtung! Für Kinder unter 3 Jahren nicht geeignet. Erstickungsgefahr, da kleine Teile verschluckt oder eingeatmet werden können.

Strong and durable.

I’m very impressed by these plates. I want to start by saying I use them mostly for my home cooking but these are strong and durable enough to be used at outdoor events and other social gathering. At 10in the plates are big enough to fit the whole meal, and with growing boys it is necessary to feed them full portions for their growing bodies. The design is nice and the plates are thick, there is also a coating on them. I prefer that because I often cook with gravies and sauces and if you want the sauces and juice to remain you need a coated disposable plate. Another positive is that because you can put bigger food portions because of the size, you also need the plates to hold up. These do exactly that. Even with heavy foods the plates remain firm and not flimsy. These are really good paper plates.

These are great for everyday use. The plates are easy to remove from stack. They don’t stick together. The design is the same as shown. The blue and white colors complement each other.
