Hintergrund

Walter Bosse (1904 - 1979) war ein Künstler und Designer aus Wien. Er war bereits 1925 mit seinen Keramikfiguren international erfolgreich, fand jedoch später im Messing seine künstlerische Erfüllung. Anhand von Vorbildern aus zoologischen Gärten schuf er eine Serie von Miniatur-Tierfiguren aus der „schwarz-goldenen“ Linie.
