Die kombinierte PIR und Mikrowellen (MW) Erkennung macht das Produkt besonders zuverlssig in Sachen Fehlalarmen. Der Bewegungsmelder funktioniert wie ein klassischer PIR Melder, wenn ber die PIR Aktivierung jedoch eine Bewegung in einem berwachten Bereich erkannt wird, erfolgt eine MW Aktivierung und besttigt die vorherige PIR Aktivierung.

Der Bewegungsmelder funktioniert wie ein klassischer PIR-Melder, wenn über die PIR-Aktivierung jedoch eine Bewegung in einem überwachten Bereich erkannt wird, erfolgt eine MW-Aktivierung und bestätigt die vorherige PIR-Aktivierung.
Der JA-162 PW (G) verfügt über eine graue Linse mit einer erhöhten Weißlichtimmunität, die die von der Norm definierten Anforderungen (bis zu 10000 Lux) bei weitem übertrifft. Diese Linse trägt dazu bei, Fehlalarme zu reduzieren, die z.B. durch folgende Faktoren verursacht werden: Autoscheinwerfer, die untergehende Sonne, sowie Blitze oder reflektierende Oberflächen. Die Immunität gegenüber Fehlalarmen kann auf zwei Stufen, PIR und MW, eingestellt werden.
Der JA-162PW ist nur mit den Jablotron Zentralen JA-103KR und JA-107KR kompatibel.
